A sunny Sunday saw a promising start to the season for the U10s squad. 22 boys and girls lined up to face a brisk warm-up and a refresher on tackle technique. New boys Tyler and Sam showed their pace in the relay race and worked on their passing with the coaches. A mini match showed a little rustiness but some big tackles from Carter and Cameron slowed down the threat from the hard running Sebastian and Flynn. Barney threw his trademark dummy (of course) and Ruby worked around the fringes to tidy up scrappy ball. Man mountain Joseph has found some extra gas over summer and he will be tough to stop. Rucking and mauling next week when things start to get a bit more physical!! Don't forget your gumshields....
